WE LOVE: JOINERY LIVING...

We have currently fallen HARD for the simple aesthetic of JOINERY LIVING. Based in NYC, of course... I'm not even sure I can get my hands on some if I wanted too. It's calm living, with an emphasis on natural materials, beautiful wooden pieces, ceramics I go weak at the knees for, and don't even get me started on those blankets. Our friend Emma Cleine is the women behind LUMIERE ART + CO. We met Emma a few years back at a LIFE INSTYLE TRADE SHOW, we were situated across from each other and hit it off. Every year we swap products, so we are lucky enough to own a few beautiful cushions from Emma. He wares are handprinted in her studio in the Mornington Peninsula, and everything is made in Australia. Emma's latest foray into textiles, in particular bedding, has been a very successful one. Yesterday she was featured on everyone's favourite design blog, THE DESIGN FILES...

SPACES CURRENTLY INSPIRING US...

Many things inspire us when choosing new artists and collaborating on works for their collection with AHD... and living spaces are one of our biggest inspirations. What would people want to hang in their home? You see, we've always encouraged people to re-use their AHD PAPER CO greeting cards, to frame and hang it in their homes, or use washi tape to fix it to their wall, and with the addition of our posterWRAP, this is even more true. Here are some spaces that currently inspire us as we are about to embark on a new collection, complete with new artists to AHD...

NEW STOCKIST: THE WOODSFOLK ON THE DESIGN FILES...

One of our fabulous new stockists, THE WOODSFOLK were recently featured on THE DESIGN FILES. We are thrilled to have them stocking a selection of our cards amongst the rest of their carefully selected wares. Amber, store owner, is also behind DOWN TO THE WOODS, and has immaculate taste. I can't wait to visit them when next we are in Melbourne...in the meantime we will continue to swoon over their LOGO design. A big congrats to The Woodsfolk on the recent opening of their store...
